Occasionally life throws you a curve
You labor, you slumber
You dedicate your time
And energy to your purpose in life
Neglecting the social activities
Revolving around you
Then someone walks in the door
Someone who incenses your soul
With a mere passing glance
You wrestle with your emotions
Trying to restrain them
Your head commands your heart
Remain ever vigilant
Yet such a modest little kiss
Sets your senses aglow
With pure unbridled lust
Could it ever be more?
Don't be convinced that
All men are bastards
Don't trust that they're not
Occasionally life throws you a curve
