Reap What We Sow

Can you put a price on laughter? On love? On humility?
I can!

Laughter costs us all of the unhappiness we can find within our souls.
Do we not feel lighter for having laughed?

Love costs us all of the selfishness that devours our hearts and minds daily.
Do we not find ourselves giving and caring when love manifests in our lives?

Humility costs the egotism and selfishness which corrupts our humanity
And its life's ebb throughout our limited time upon this world.

Can any of us honestly admit that we have not been emotionally
Touched by life's cruel and inhuman thrust of its particular brand of truth?

Our torrid little lives are products of our own deviousness.
If we pursue that which is wicked and inhumane,
We will certainly reap what we sow.

The same shall also be true if we
Plant love, compassion, empathy, and trust.

Imagine the crops our glorious love could produce:
Fruitful!
